Konforlu ısınma sağlayabilmek için, tesisat elemanlarının seçiminde mühendislik hesaplamaları yapılarak en sağlıklı sonuca ulaşılır. Bunun için mimari projeden en ufak bina detayına kadar, birçok bilgiyi elde edip, ısı kaybı hesaplamalarında her mahal için ısı kaybı hesabı cetveli hazırlayıp en sağlıklı sonuca ulaşmak gerekir.

Ancak ülkemizde önceden yapılmış olup elimizde yeterli verinin olmadığı binalar için bu hesaplama yöntemi pek mümkün olmamaktadır. Radyatör seçiminde 4 farklı seçeneğiniz mevcuttur.
1. Panel radyatör ;
Piyasada özellikle konutlarda en çok kullanılan radyatör tipidir. Montaj kolaylığı, yüksek verimi, çabuk ısı elde edilmesi sebebiyle tercih edilir. Yapılan hesaplamada mahal alanına göre kaç metre radyatör ihtiyacınız olduğu hesaplanır.
2. Döküm radyatör;
Geç ısınma sebebiyle konutlarda tercih sebebi değildir. Genellikle iş merkezleri, okul, hastane vb. kalabalık insanların olduğu alanlarda tercih edilir.
3. Havlupan/Banyopan;
Genellikle banyolarda ya da dekoratif amaçlı radyatör tercih edilen yerlerde kullanılır. Yapılan ısı kaybı hesabına göre enxboy ölçülerine göre seçim yapabilirsiniz.
4. Alüminyum radyatör;
Yüksek maliyetleri nedeniyle pek tercih edilmemektedir. Ancak çok kısa sürede çok daha yüksek verim elde etmek istiyorsanız tercih sebebi olabilir. Çok daha çabuk ısındığı için kullandığınız yakıtı çok daha kısa sürede verime dönüştürebilirsiniz.

Tüm seçimler yapıldıktan sonra metraj raporu hazırlanır. Ayarlar menüsünden radyatör cinslerinin ve tiplerinin saatlik verimleri kcal/h cinsinden tanımlanmıştır. Siz kullanmış olduğunuz markanın verim değerlerini ayarlar menüsünden değiştirip kaydedebilirsiniz. Sonraki hesaplamalarınızda sürekli kullanabilirsiniz.

Pratik radyatör hesabı uygulaması, ortalama kriterler üzerinden yaklaşık değerler kullanılarak hazırlanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar, kesin doğruluğu olmayan ve tavsiye niteliğinde görülmesi gereken sonuçlardır.
